Facebook for iPhone 3.3 is now available for download as a major update for iPhone and iPod touch to bring updated Places support, Groups feature, and the ability to add photos to check-ins with better tagging. The update was announced in Facebook's event today by CEO Mark Zukerberg.

iOS 4.2 GM Fixes Lockscreen Secuirty Flaw

Just a follow up to the previous post about iOS 4.1 critical bug which lets you bypass passcode lock and make calls, see the entire list of contact, recent call history and voicemails. The new iOS 4.2 GMwhich was released last night, has fixed this security flaw and it's no more working.

As expected, we've been trying for many times but it didn't work with iOS 4.2 gold master. This version is only for developers but you can update to iOS 4.2 right now without waiting for public release some time next week using our guide posted here. [via BGR]
